Ayla is a go-with-the-flow type of gal who is looking for her second chance in a moderately-paced home without a lot of comings and goings. Despite only having three legs, she loves to hike and run, and is a huge fan of doing zoomies with her husky and hound foster brothers. 

 

Ayla is a star of “sitting pretty” and looking into your soul to decide whether you are one of her people. She is deeply loyal to her humans, has excellent leash manners, loves to play, and is not destructive in the home. 

 

Ayla has personality quirks that her owner will need to accept and not try to force her to change. She has been in training for a month and has improved considerably, and she will continue to do so with time and further training. For this reason, we are requiring a $100 training deposit that will be refunded upon completion of her training.

 

Ayla is very loving and wants to be with her people, but she needs her alone time and does not like to be bothered while she is sleeping. Her owners will need to provide her with a crate to ensure she has a space of her own.

 

Although Ayla can be a social dog and will approach people to get love and affection, she’s also sensitive and a little introverted. She is not a dog that wants every person to pet her, and her owner should not expect that of her. 

Ayla does well with other dogs, although she is selective with female dogs. Her favorite human is a 10-year-old girl, and she would do well in a home with older and respectful kids. 

 

We would like to have Ayla adopted around the Baltimore area. She will come up to date on her shots, spayed, and microchipped.
