Gia is a sweet, gentle girl with a wonderful personality. Like many of the dogs we rescue, Gia has a sad history. We believe that she was used solely for breeding and kept in a kennel with her puppies. When our rescuer found her, she was emaciated and in poor condition. She also had been abused, so while she is good with strangers, she gets scared when people make quick hand movements near her. Gia is a timid girl and it takes her a while to warm up to people.

 

Gia does well riding in the car and is friendly with dogs and cats. 

 

We would like to have Gia adopted around the Baltimore area. She will come up to date on her shots and microchipped. She is not yet spayed, but we will pay the costs associated with the procedure at a facility we choose or approve.
