This is Newman, a sweet, friendly guy that loves dogs, cats, and kids. Our rescuer was notified about him by a family that Newman had been following around for a week. They fed him, but they could not keep him because dogs are not allowed in their home. 

 

Newman loves going for walks and being outside. He is very smart, and his foster mom says he is an absolute gentleman in most respects; he doesn’t really get into or chew on things that he’s not supposed to.

Newman has some separation anxiety, and he will need an owner who can help him overcome that. He also has some crate anxiety and will need help with his crate training. Fortunately, he is highly food motivated and that will help with his training.

​

We would like to have Newman adopted around the Baltimore area. He will come up to date on his shots and microchipped. He is not yet neutered, but we will pay the costs associated with the procedure at a facility we approve or choose.
