Rose is a very playful pup that loves to be brushed. She will stay with you for hours just to be loved. She is a timid girl, so it takes her awhile to warm up to strangers (she needs extra time with men). Once she knows she is safe, though, she is very loving. She does lack confidence and will need a patient owner to help her with that. She also tends to “guard” her people so her new owner will need to work with her on that as well. 

She is a smart girl that responds well to a firm “no.” She does not beg for food and is relatively mellow for such a young dog. She is comfortable and calm in her crate and will go into it with a verbal command. 

Rose does well with other large dogs. She does not do well with small dogs. We would like to find her a home with another large dog, outside of the city where she can get plenty of exercise and go on long walks. 

We would like to have Rose adopted around the Baltimore area. She will come up to date on her shots, spayed, and microchipped.
